TechTank has a new look and a new Slack community journey: The Minnow

@channel BIG NEWS - TechTank has a new look! 🎉 If you’ve noticed something different on our website and socials, that’s because we’ve officially rebranded with a brand new logo. This one has been a true team effort. Huge thanks to Mabel K. and Victoria S. for designing it. They took a pile of ideas, feedback and late-night threads and turned it into something we’re really proud of. And a big shoutout to Tony K. for driving the project forward and getting the snazzy website updated on top of everything else he does for the team. The refresh reflects who we’ve become. ❤️ We started as a small group of people looking for a friendlier way to meet and build in Toronto tech, and we’ve grown into a registered nonprofit running a diverse lineup of events EVERY MONTH. The new look is built for where we’re headed next. There's something new here in Slack too 👀 We’ve launched our first community journey: The Minnow 🐟. Hit certain activity milestones here in Slack and you’ll earn a virtual badge. Even better, you can redeem that badge for a IRL TechTank sticker at your next event! YES A REAL LIFE ACTUAL STICKER FOR PARTICIPATING IN SLACK WOOOOO Minnow is the first (and easiest) badge, with more to come.
